Estimator Required for Immediate Start – Landscaping and Construction / Dartford / Up to £50,000 PA depending on experience

Are you an experienced Estimator or someone looking to move into Estimating and able to provide outstanding cost analysis and estimating services for our Landscape Construction projects? Do you have relevant experience? This includes the preparation for our sales team, ownership and supporting of projects by liaising with external consultants and clients to the point that they are handed over to our operational teams. In addition, you will help implement core process and governance in the tendering process for consistent preparation of documentation.

The Role in brief: Working as part of the Estimating team to determine the cost of projects by analysing plans, calculating material, labour, and equipment expenses, and gathering quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Key duties include preparing bids and quotations, managing project budgets against forecasts, assessing risks, and liaising with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

You will have current work experience within an estimating role, preferably in Landscaping but alternatively in a Construction or Groundworks company, or you will be working in Contracts/ Project Management within the Landscape industry looking for a new challenge.

Required Skills:

  • Estimating software (Evaluate) experience desired but full training will be given.
  • Experience with pdf take-off software ( Bluebeam ) desired but full training will be given
  • Have experience in preparing and submitting tenders for Commercial Landscaping, Groundwork or General Construction works.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Have an understanding of Contracts and Project risk management.
  • Have good general IT skills including MS Office, excel etc
  • Be organised with good time management and used to meeting tender deadlines.
  • Have good communication, analysis and advanced reporting skills.
  • Be a team player with a flexible attitude
  • Ability to commute to DA2 7SE.
