Bricklayer/Groundworker

Full Time, 40 Hours

Monday – Thursday 08.00 – 17.00

Friday 08.00 – 14.00

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, long standing Building & Property Services Business based in Stockton-on-Tees. As a successful candidate you will have experience working as a Bricklayer/Ground Worker

Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out bricklaying repairs including repointing, brick replacement, and minor structural repairs.
  • Undertake groundwork tasks such as drainage repairs, concreting, excavation, and paving.
  • Identify and rectify external causes of damp and water ingress.
  • Install or repair drainage channels, gullies, and soakaways.
  • Carry out excavation works in occupied/unoccupied properties safely and efficiently.
  • Repair paths, steps, and external surfaces following remedial works.
  • Work alongside damp & mould surveyors and multi-trade operatives.
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain clean and safe working areas in occupied homes.
  • Complete job sheets, reports, and photographic evidence where required
  • Installation of helifix fixing rods
  • All other aspects of brickwork/groundworks as required
  • Adhere to company health & safety procedures and social housing compliance standards

Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years maintenance experience
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 qualification, or equivalent essential
  • Time served
