Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and clients alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and excellent customer service are highly valued.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise guest rooms, communal areas, and other designated spaces according to company standards
  • Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
  • Perform janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
  • Assist with laundry duties as required
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests courteously and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products and equipment
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
  • Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience or familiarity with hospitality environments
