About Us

Finlock Removals is a nationwide home improvements company specialising in the removal of Finlock concrete guttering and its replacement with modern UPVC guttering.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and self-motivated FSG Installer to join our growing team on a self-employed basis.

This role is suitable for an experienced installer who can work independently from day one. Full training will not be provided by other members of the team, so applicants must already have the relevant skills and experience to carry out installations to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Removing old Finlock concrete guttering and installing replacement UPVC guttering.
  • Installing, repairing and maintaining fascias, soffits and guttering systems.
  • Carrying out installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Working independently to complete jobs within agreed timescales.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during installations.
  • Attending service calls for your own completed jobs when required.
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism when dealing with customers.
  • Following all relevant health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience installing or replacing fascias, soffits and guttering.
  • Previous practical installation experience and the ability to work confidently without supervision or on-the-job training.
  • Must have your own reliable van suitable for carrying the necessary tools and equipment.
  • Must have your own tools required to carry out installation work.
  • Good knowledge of installation methods, hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to manage your own workload.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
