Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative

West Midlands and surrounding areas

About the role

Rising Stars Property Solutions CIC is looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Operative to join our growing team.

You will complete damp and mould treatments, general repairs and property improvement works across residential and commercial properties. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can identify problems and is committed to delivering a high-quality service.

Main responsibilities

  • Carrying out damp and mould treatments and remedial works.
  • Diagnosing maintenance issues and identifying appropriate repairs.
  • Completing basic tasks within your competence.
  • Painting, decorating and plaster repairs.
  • Fitting fixtures, fittings and sealants.
  • Repairing minor leaks, guttering and other possible causes of damp.
  • Taking and submitting clear before-and-after photographs.
  • Completing work safely and to a high standard.
  • Keeping work areas organised and reporting any issues to management.
  • Supporting or supervising junior operatives when required.

What we are looking for:

  • Good practical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence – essential.
  • Ability to use a smartphone to receive jobs and submit photographs.
