A mobile Maintenance Technician is required to carry out general repairs and property maintenance across Manchester, Liverpool and the wider North West.

The role involves travelling between residential and commercial properties managed by estate agents, block managers and other property clients. You’ll complete a varied range of maintenance work, helping keep properties safe, presentable and ready for occupation.

The role

• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and property refurbishments.
• Complete painting and decorating, wallpapering, joinery, basic plumbing, tiling and guttering.
• Respond to work requests and complete jobs to a good standard.
• Keep customers informed and provide a professional service to tenants and clients.
• Record work completed and materials used, and submit clear job sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Travel between job sites across the North West, keeping appointments and communicating any issues.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or property maintenance role.
• Practical ability across several of the trades listed above.
• A full, clean driving licence.
• Your own suitable vehicle is essential; a van is preferred. Business mileage is reimbursed.
• A reliable, organised approach and good communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of work.

Salary and hours

• £27,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
• Business mileage reimbursed.
• Company pension.
• Tools and equipment required for the role provided.
