Experienced Roofer
CRS Roofing – Leeds and West Yorkshire

CRS Roofing is looking for an experienced roofer who takes pride in their work and can lead a team on site. You’ll need strong practical roofing skills, the ability to organise jobs and a commitment to working safely and delivering a high-quality finish.

The role

You’ll carry out roof replacements, repairs and roofline installations, while organising and supervising labourers to keep work progressing efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pitched roofing, including slating, tiling, felt and batten installation.
  • Installing dry ridge and dry verge systems.
  • Fitting fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes.
  • Carrying out lead work, including flashings and weatherproofing.
  • Installing and repairing flat roofing systems.
  • Planning daily tasks and identifying material requirements.
  • Leading labourers, assigning tasks and checking their work.
  • Training and supporting less experienced team members.
  • Maintaining safe working practices, tidy sites and high standards of workmanship.
  • Communicating professionally with customers and keeping management informed of progress or issues.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven hands-on experience in pitched roofing, slating and tiling.
  • Experience fitting roofline products and carrying out lead work.
  • Practical experience with flat roofing systems.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
  • The ability to work independently and run a team of labourers.
  • Confidence teaching others and explaining the correct way to carry out tasks.
  • Good knowledge of site safety and safe working at height.
  • Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
  • A professional attitude towards customers, colleagues and their property.

We’re looking for someone who can take responsibility for a job, solve problems and maintain a consistent standard from start to finish.
