Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sales Assistant/Driver to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and delivering goods efficiently across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in delivery roles, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in sales and logistics within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product enquiries and sales transactions in a professional manner
  • Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries and collections across designated routes
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update records as required
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, deliveries, and customer needs
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations
  • Assist in warehouse tasks including stock organisation, inventory checks, and heavy lifting when necessary

Experience

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role is preferred
  • Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse activities is desirable
  • forklift Licence preferable but not essential

This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. The position provides an engaging environment for those eager to grow their skills in sales, logistics, and driving within a supportive team.

You must be over 25 use company vehicles due to vehicle insurance requirements.
