Salary: £35,000 BASIC -> £41,000 OTE inc. Uncapped Monthly Bonus worth an average of £6,000 per annum
Location: North Yorkshire & Surrounding Areas.

We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Roofer to join our growing team in Yorkshire, covering areas such as Middlesbrough/Richmond/Scarborough

Working from alterations, such as guttering, Roof Vent Tiles, tile replacements etc.

The Role
You will form one half of a two-person roofing team, working primarily on reactive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. Your work will be key to delivering timely and professional roofing repairs across the local area, including pitched and flat roof repairs, erecting scaffolding and gutter maintenance. You’ll be supported by a Lead Operative and our Help Desk team, with real-time scheduling and reporting managed via our CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of roofing issues including pitched and flat roof systems.
  • Carry out works in accordance with NHF Schedule of Rates and client specifications.
  • Use software to receive, update and close jobs, including uploading photographs and job notes.
  • Liaise professionally with residents, clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with SSR Roofing’s H&S procedures.
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments on-site to ensure safety and awareness of ACMs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a roofer in reactive maintenance or social housing.
  • Willingness to work away when required although will be minimal
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Roofing (preferred).
  • Valid CSCS Card and full UK driving licence (essential).
  • PASMA certification (essential).
  • Clean DBS Check (essential)
  • <6 Points on Driving License (essential)
  • Comfortable using mobile job management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
