Role Overview:

South Cumbria Construction Ltd is a well-established family company, experienced in delivering high quality works across a variety of projects both large and small.

Due to long-term work and company growth, we are looking for an experienced and skilled roofer with a range of skills such as slating, tiling, leadwork and guttering.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, between 8:00am – 4:30pm.

The successful candidate must be able to work within a team or alone using their own initiative.

A full clean driving licence is essential and a valid CSCS card is preferred.

Any offer of employment is subject to a DBS check.

The role includes domestic and commercial work for both existing and new customers across south Cumbria. Our typical works are refurbishments and maintenance, and we frequently work for The National Trust on many of their properties in our region.

*We would also consider a self-employed position.

Pay is £14.00 - £15.00 per hour and is dependent on experience and qualifications.

22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (we close over the Christmas period).

PPE allowance (after qualifying period)
