Experienced Roofer – Permanent, Full-Time | Leeds

The role

You will carry out roofing repairs and maintenance on social housing and commercial properties, primarily across Leeds, with travel to Midlands projects as required.

Your work will include:

• Pitched roofing repairs, including tiles and slates.
• Flat and felt roofing repairs.
• Fascia, soffit and associated roofline carpentry.
• Guttering, rainwater goods and minor associated works.
• Identifying defects and completing effective, lasting repairs.
• Recording work completed and taking clear before-and-after photographs.
• Maintaining safe, tidy work areas and treating residents and their homes with respect.

What we need from you

• At least four years’ roofing experience.
• Practical competence in the roofing work listed above.
• The ability to diagnose roofing problems and take ownership of your work.
• A sound understanding of safe working practices, including working at height.
• A full, valid driving licence suitable for driving a company vehicle.
• Good communication skills and a professional manner with residents, clients and colleagues.
• Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to quality.
