Role Overview:

To install fire doors as a team; to be involved in refurbishment and project works including bathroom upgrades, kitchen installations and window replacements. To ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.

Duties & responsibilities:

To undertake joinery work on a full range of commercial properties.

To undertake, as and when required, other associated refurbishment, maintenance, and project works.

To repair, maintain and replace doors, door frames and windows.

To undertake all joinery tasks necessary in the maintenance of flooring, roofing, skirting and ceilings.

To carry out works in conjunction with bathroom upgrades such as wet wall panelling, boxing in of pipework and installation of shower screens.

To carry out kitchen installations to a high standard including installation of all associated fixtures and fittings.

Skills & experience:

Industry knowledge. The candidate will probably have other associated skills which they can use to help the team. They may have installed their own kitchen or bathroom. They may have been involved during the installation of roof systems, guttering and fall pipes. They even may have been involved in decorating a room after works have taken place.

They will be able to communicate effectively with people.

Have essential time management skills.

Able to assess own performance and follow training direction.

Have a UK full driving licence

No drink driving convictions

Well-presented and proactive

Sufficiently mobile and flexible towards hours and place of work. Is able to work away occasionally.

Have their own hand tools

And will have a clear focus on a quality of service

What We Offer:

Salary £13.00 per hour.

45 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

22 days annual leave (plus statutory bank holidays)
