About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, competent and quality-focused Window & Door Fitter to join our growing installation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled installer looking for consistent work, long-term stability and the chance to develop alongside a company that is actively expanding.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing window, door and conservatory installations to an exceptionally high standard.

Experience with VEKA window and door systems is essential, and familiarity with LEKA roofing systems is highly desirable.

We are not simply looking for someone who can fit windows and doors. We want someone who takes genuine pride in their craftsmanship, pays attention to the smallest details and understands the importance of getting every installation right.

Key Responsibilities

• Install uPVC windows, doors and associated glazing products to an exceptionally high standard.
• Carry out installations involving VEKA window and door systems.
• Undertake conservatory installations and LEKA lightweight roofing system installations where required.
• Install composite doors, French doors, patio doors and other specialist glazing products.
• Ensure all installations are completed accurately, professionally and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant building regulations.
• Carry out all associated finishing work, including trimming, sealing and making good, to an excellent standard.
• Identify and resolve installation challenges efficiently without compromising quality.
• Take responsibility for the quality and presentation of completed installations.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Treat customers’ homes and properties with the utmost care and respect.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Represent JP Windows professionally and help maintain our reputation for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements

We are specifically looking for experienced installers who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience in professional window and door installation.
• Strong knowledge and experience of VEKA window and door systems.
• An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and confidently complete installations to a professional standard.
• Excellent practical skills and the ability to overcome installation challenges.
• A thorough understanding of correct installation methods and relevant building regulations.
• A reliable, hardworking and professional approach.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the finished installation.
• A full UK driving licence.

This is an experienced position, not a trainee role. We need someone who already possesses the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver high-quality installations.

Desirable Experience

Additional experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• LEKA lightweight roofing systems.
• Conservatory construction and roof replacements.
• Aluminium window and door systems.
• Fascias, soffits and guttering.
• General building and associated finishing works.
• Surveying and measuring for installations.
• Relevant industry qualifications and certifications.
