Job Title: Gutter, Fascia Board, Soffit, and Downpipe Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gutter, Fascia Board, Soffit, and Downpipe Technician to join our team. This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters, fascia boards, soffits, and downpipes in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality workmanship, and a solid understanding of roofing and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Repair: Install and replace gutters, fascia boards, soffits, and downpipes to ensure effective water drainage and prevent damage to buildings. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing systems, ensuring functionality and preventing leaks or blockages. Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and industry standards. Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of gutters, fascia boards, soffits, and downpipes to identify any potential issues. Provide accurate assessments and recommendations for repairs, replacements, or upgrades. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean gutters, downpipes, and associated components, removing debris to ensure proper water flow and prevent clogging. Perform maintenance on fascia boards and soffits to extend the life of the roofing system. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and guidelines while working at heights or using ladders and scaffolding. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety on-site. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients and offering helpful advice and recommendations. Address customer concerns or inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Equipment and

Tools Management: Safely operate tools and machinery needed for gutter, fascia board, soffit, and downpipe installation and repairs. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are properly stored and used. Required Skills &

Qualifications: Proven experience in gutter installation, fascia board, soffit, and downpipe systems. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Familiarity with tools and machinery used in roofing and drainage system installation. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements and installations. Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards. Ability to assess damage and determine necessary repairs or replacements. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in roofing or building Experience in working with different types of guttering materials (e.g., aluminum, PVC, copper). Previous experience in a customer-facing role. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and carry materials. Comfortable working in heights (e.g., ladders, scaffolding). Capable of performing manual labor for extended periods.
