We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multiskilled Maintenance Operative to join our busy Maintenance Response Team.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for preparing residential properties to a high standard, ensuring work is completed efficiently and within agreed timescales. A quick turnaround is often essential, so strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are key.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently as well as part of a team and will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a wide range of maintenance and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works within residential managed properties.
  • Undertake a variety of trade tasks including carpentry, tiling, roofing, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, guttering, decorating, plastering, and kitchen and bathroom refurbishments.
  • Conduct fault-finding and leak investigations.
  • Complete repairs and any additional remedial works identified during inspections and investigations.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
  • Strong practical skills across a range of trades, particularly carpentry.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Committed to following Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
  • Able to complete job reports and required paperwork accurately.

Additional Information

This position is subject to satisfactory references, a driving licence check, and a basic DBS check.

A company vehicle will be provided for business use, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. Candidates must provide their own tools; however, there is an option to purchase tools through the Company's Tool Club Scheme.
