About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be provided with a fully equipped company van and all the spray kit and PPE you need from day one, so you can hit the ground running without any outlay on your part.

Your base salary is £28,000 to £32,000 per annum depending on experience, giving you a stable and reliable income. On top of that, we run a monthly Performance Bonus Scheme: throughout each month we offer additional project work on a structured bonus basis, giving you the opportunity to meaningfully increase your earnings. High performers consistently take home well above the base salary. The more you put in, the more you earn.

About the Work

You will need hands-on spraying and masking experience across a range of surfaces, interior and exterior settings including windows, doors, conservatories, soffits, guttering, kitchens, furniture, shopfronts, music equipment and commercial or residential buildings. Confidence working across substrates including uPVC, aluminium, timber, MDF, laminate and previously painted or coated surfaces is essential, as is proficiency with both HVLP and airless spray equipment.

Experience must include live residential and commercial properties, working in occupied homes and active sites, alongside any booth or workshop experience you may also have.

We also work across commercial assets such as curtain walling, aluminium frames, cladding panels, office and retail fit-outs, schools, warehouses and hospitality sites. Aluminium frame experience is preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience with various hand and power tools.

What You Will Do

• Prepare, clean, key and mask uPVC, aluminium, and other substrates to a high standard, removing and reinstating silicone where needed (silicone experience not necessary).
• Mix paints and coatings to specified colours and consistencies prior to application.
• Spray to a consistent, durable finish using HVLP and airless equipment, including colour matching across RAL, British Standard and designer shades.
• Make minor repairs across all substrates.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain all spray equipment after use, ensuring guns and kit are kept in full working order.
• Work safely on occupied homes and live commercial sites, following site rules, inductions and RAMS.
• Travel to projects anywhere in the United Kingdom, including some early starts and occasional overnight stays.

Essentials

• Experienced Spray Painters only.
• Proven on-site residential and commercial spraying experience on live properties. A portfolio or photos of recent work are strongly welcomed.
• Strong preparation and masking discipline with a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working at height using ladders and access equipment.
• Professional communication with homeowners, site managers and other trades.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Beneficial but not essential: experience with aluminium, curtain walling or cladding, CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness certification, IPAF or PASMA qualifications.
