Job Description:

Cleaner - Part time 20 hours - varying shift pattern.

Please note that duties include deep cleaning, which will involve manual labour such as scrubbing floors, cleaning shower grids and walls, etc.

Hours of work (may be subject to change).

Mon 7am - 11am

Tues 7am - 11am

Weds 7am - 11am

Thurs 7am - 11am

Fri 7am - 11am

Plus alternate Sundays (a day off in the week will be provided during this week)

Job Objective

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Deep cleaning & scrubbing of igym changing room floors, walls and reception flooring, including toilets, showers & sinks.

- Emptying all recycling and general waste bins

Due to the tasks stated above, this role requires periods of manual labour and should be considered before application.

The individual must be pro-active, energetic, with enthusiasm and professionalism to support the team and Manager with the everyday running of the club as a whole.

In particular we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is willing to work on their own as well as part of a team.

You must be able to perform their daily tasks to the highest quality. You also must be willing to represent igym brand standards to the highest quality.

· To clean changing room area, such as toilets, showers, sinks etc

· To clean front of house area, vacuuming and dusting

· Sweep, mop and dust walkways and hallways

· Vacuum Gym floor and wash the hard floor area

· Vacuum and wash fitness studio

· To ensure the club is clean and tidy

Miscellaneous

· To present a responsible and professional company image

· To present a responsible and professional attitude at all times

· To work flexibly across all disciplines

· All staff are working to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards

· All staff conforming to Health and Safety regulations

· To attend meetings and training as advised

· Open and close the club as and when required

Person Specification

· First Aid desirable

· Experience working as a cleaner is preferred, especially with changing rooms, showers, toilets, floors, communal areas etc, but full training will be given.

· Excellent customer service is essential

· Good verbal communication skills are essential

· Personal management and organisation skills

· Ability to use a machine floor scrubber preferred, but full training can be given

· Willing to be flexible to suit business needs

· Excellent time management

· Flexible working hours morning, evenings, and weekends.
