Job Description


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional experience to every prospect, member and guest ensuring every interaction is utilised as a sales and retention opportunity.
  • Proactively drive membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and secondary spend including food & beverage, retail and fitness product sales.
  • Convert enquiries into memberships through confident objection handling, needs based selling and effective follow up.
  • Support member retention by building strong relationships, identifying at risk members, and recommending relevant products and services to enhance member experience and results.
  • Conduct tailored tours of the Gym linked to the individual’s specific goals and upselling based on matching their needs to our facilities and services offered.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual and club KPIs
  • Be a competent key holder of the club when required, ensuring smooth opening, closing and shift coverage.
  • Learn, utilise and master our membership software and other systems (training provided).
  • Act as a trusted brand ambassador, promoting and taking part in current Fitness Challenges, Class concepts, and our Workout Wednesday initiative to drive engagement and participation.
  • Support operational excellence by taking an active role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, gym floor presentation, ensuring the club is always looks great and above expectation
  • Support the Head Coach where needed with gym resets and ad-hoc fitness related tasks on and off the gym floor.
  • Knowledgeable about the products and services on offer.
  • Handle member queries and complaints professionally escalating to a manager where required.

Qualifications


Need to be:

  • Outgoing and confident, with a positive mindset.
  • Competent with all administrative duties.
  • Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
  • Curious and eager to participate in learning and development opportunities, to progress both skills and career.
  • Willing and able to drop into operational key holder duties as and when the business requires.
  • Passionate about fitness, sales and customer service.
  • Flexible – to work shifts to suit the needs of the business, and to take on additional duties where required to support your team members. Availability at weekends and bank holidays is vital.
  • Target focussed – to support the club with sales and retention towards achieving success for the business.
