HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Carlisle ( Double-Manned)

Location: Carlisle

Pay Rate: £18.29-£18.79ph PAYE

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Night Shifts | Approx. 10 hours per night

Job Type: Ongoing each week

Thomas Grant Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for one of our long-standing transport and logistics clients based in Carlisle

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, professional logistics provider known for delivering reliable and efficient trunking services across the UK.

We are currently seeking drivers for double manned night runs to destinations down south.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out double-manned trunking operations
  • Drive safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with transport and tachograph regulations.
  • Complete all required paperwork and E-POD documentation accurately.
  • Work effectively as part of a double-manned team
  • Always represent the company professionally.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Ability to work double-manned operations
  • Strong understanding of transport regulations and driver safety standards

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday (Night Shifts)
  • Start times rotate each week between 16.00pm and 19.00pm
  • Approx. 10-11.5 hours per shift
