Reactive Maintenance Operative – HGV Class2 Driver

Location: Manby, LN11 8SU
Rate: £165 per day (CIS) or Umbrella
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing Work

We are currently recruiting HGV class2 - Reactive Maintenance Operatives to join our highways team, working across the Lincolnshire road network.

This is a hands-on role within a two-person crew, responding to highway defects such as potholes and carriageway damage. You will be responsible for operating a Class2 (manual) vehicle and hotbox equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 start (typically 8–9 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive highway maintenance and repairs
  • Operate a HGV class2 vehicle and associated equipment (e.g. hotbox)
  • Work effectively as part of a two-person team
  • Follow all health & safety procedures on site

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Licence Class2
  • Previous highways or similar maintenance experience preferred
  • NRSWA (Street Works) certification desirable (not essential)
