About the role

HGV Night Driver (Trunker) – Class 2
Worthing Depot
Night Shift | 5 out of 7 days
Looking for a driving role that keeps you moving and makes a real difference?
If you enjoy life on the road, working nights, and being part of a fast-paced operation — this could be the role for you. At Bidfood, our drivers are at the heart of what we do. As a Night Trunker, you’ll play a key role in keeping our network running smoothly, ensuring goods are moved efficiently between depots so our customers get what they need, when they need it.
What you’ll be doing
  • Driving Class 2 vehicles between Bidfood depots (trunking routes)
  • Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Loading and unloading vehicles where required
  • Handling ambient, chilled and frozen products
  • Completing temperature checks and maintaining product quality throughout your shift
  • Supporting yard movements and shunting where needed
  • Working as part of a close-knit night team to keep operations running smoothly
What we’re looking for
  • Valid Class 2 licence up-to-date
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • A reliable and safety-focused approach
  • Comfortable working nights in a physically active role
  • A team player who takes pride in their work
