About Us: 5VHire is a Plant and Tool Hire company based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Offering a Local, Reliable and Efficient Service. We hire mini diggers, Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers, Telehandlers, Attachments, Bunded Bowsers and a vast range small tools catering for the professional tradesman and DIYer. .

Job Role: We are looking to hire a full time HGV Class 2 Plant Delivery Driver, due to expanding our business in the Plant and Tool Hire industry. Plant experience is essential.

Hours: Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:00, but may vary when required

The Role:

  • Delivery and collection of plant equipment & collections
  • Unloading & Loading equipment
  • Completing visual inspections of machinery, and taking photos of damage where necessary
  • Pre-delivery vehicle checks and safe loading of plant machinery

The Person:

  • HGV Driver
  • Plant Experience
  • Looking for a permanent role with a salary and some overtime if desired

Experience:

  • Plant equipment handling: 1 year (required)
  • Plant: 1 year (required)
  • HGV Driving Class 2: 1 year (required)
