HGV Class 2 ADR Fuel Tanker Driver | Halstead

Permanent

Basic : £39,360 (45hrs£45,885/yr)

The company are one of the UK's fastest-growing independently owned fuel distributors. They are expanding the driver team at the Halstead depot and are looking for experienced Class 2 ADR fuel tanker drivers to join us on a permanent basis.

This is a role for a driver who takes pride in their work, understands the responsibility that comes with fuel delivery, and wants to be part of a business that is genuinely growing.

The Role

  • Class 2 rigid fuel tanker
  • Multidrop fuel delivery to commercial and domestic customers
  • Between 10 and 20 drops per day depending on run
  • Customer-facing professional conduct and communication are essential
  • Monday to Friday, 6am start - 40 hours per week guaranteed
  • Overtime available and expected Saturday working on a rota at enhanced rates
  • Winter months regularly involve longer working days due to increased demand

You Must Have

  • Current Class 2 HGV licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Current ADR certificate Class 3 in Tanks (mandatory)
  • Valid Driver CPC card
  • Previous fuel tanker multidrop experience this is a firm requirement
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively on route

What You Will Receive

  • £19.00/hr basic on 40 hours per week
  • Enhanced overtime rate of £23.75/hr
  • Estimated minimum earnings - £45885 at 45 hours
