Capital Group currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Road Sweeper Driver to perform maintenance duties on post excavation work, Construction Sites, Industrial Estates and Factory and Warehouse Roads and Car Parks.

This role will involve working outdoors throughout the year in all weathers. You will be communicating with clients, the public and reporting back to our office keeping us updated on the progress of your work.

To be considered for this position you must:

  • Have a Class 2 HGV License.
  • Have a Driver CPC qualification.
  • Road Sweeper and Gulley Sucker NVQ (Preferred.)
  • Be able to perform maintenance duties on the machine such as brush changes.
  • Be able to carry out maintenance checks on vehicles such as checking tyre tread, oil levels and ensuring your vehicle is always clean and tidy.
  • Be confident using a smartphone and all its functions.
  • Have atleast 2 years Road Sweeping experience.
  • Be reliable and have a great work ethic.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Have strong communication skills.

Working hours are 7AM - 3:30PM Monday to Friday, however you must be flexible for overtime both in the week and on weekends.

You get to take the truck home providing you have secure parking.

The pay rate is £16 per hour for all hour worked up to 40 hours, and £21 per hour for all hours worked over 40.

You are provided with all your Uniform and PPE.
