HGV Mechanic
Belfast
£44,000 - £48,000
Rotating Days & Lates Shift Pattern

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Ensure all work is completed to company and regulatory standards.
  • Support vehicle availability through efficient workshop practices.

About You

  • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or 4 in HGV/LGV Maintenance and Repair.
  • Experience working on HGVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and tail lifts.
