Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a professional HGV Driver specialising in Bulk Blower deliveries to join our team, although full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk materials, ensuring safe and accurate deliveries to our customers. We have a position for a class 1 & 2 driver currently. We work on a Monday to Friday shift with extra days available as overtime. We collect and deliver animal feed to farms across the UK. We have work that is local and distance. We are looking for somebody who can do nights out as required.

Duties

  • Operate vehicles fitted with bulk blower equipment.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and safely.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs.
  • Follow all road safety laws and company policies during transit, prioritizing safe driving practices at all times.
  • Assist with loading and unloading as required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Category C+E (Class 1) or C (Class 2) driving licence.
  • Valid CPC
  • Proven experience in commercial driving.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capacity to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively.

Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
