Full job description

Position Overview

The HR Business Partner will integrate themselves into our client’s businesses, working alongside key stakeholders and leaders to provide training, support and advice on all HR and Employment Law matters.

The Role

The key responsibilities of an HR Business Partner include:

  • To onboard new Clients either on site or remotely;
  • Bespoke drafting of all employment related documents including but not limited to contracts, offer letters, Handbooks, policies and procedures
  • To deliver training to Clients (excluding our White Label Clients) either on site or remotely on all types of HR and Employment Law matters, including, but not limited to, grievances, disciplinaries, TUPE transfers, redundancies, sickness and medical capability processes and without prejudice discussions;
  • To facilitate meetings on behalf of Clients, either on site or remotely on all types of HR and Employment Law matters, including, but not limited to, grievances, disciplinaries, TUPE transfers, redundancies, sickness and medical capability processes and without prejudice discussions;
  • Drafting recommendations and other documents as requested by the Client;
  • To undertake ACAS Early Conciliation, and prepare Settlement Agreements and COT3s in appropriate cases;
  • Handling telephone calls and email support to clients, giving appropriate commercial advice.
  • To effectively manage their own caseload using NORi HR and Employment Law’s systems, and to ensure cases are progressed in a timely manner; and
  • Use our CRM, Case Management and Telephony systems competently in accordance with internal policies and procedures;

The post holder will also be expected to:

  • Proficient in using multiple software platforms to support clients, comfortable with appropriate AI use where necessary.
  • Ensure their diary is kept up to date at all times with details of, for example, travel and meetings.
  • Keep the Board of Directors up to date on any complex cases, and cases with a high risk of litigation;
  • Escalate any matters of concern raised by Clients to the MD or COO, as appropriate;
  • Work with the Directors on social media engagement activities that may be requested from time to time;
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams;
  • Safeguard confidential, commercially sensitive, or personal data belonging to our clients; and
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably expected of them within their remit.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £37,500.00-£42,000.00 per year
