Who We Are
Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.
What You'll Do
Please note that this is a temporary, 12-month position set to start in July 2026.
As a Global HR Projects & Change Senior Manager you will be responsible for progressing a critical part of our HR Operations change agenda to further enable BCG to serve its employees with a best-in-class people-first HR organization. You will lead challenging projects and collaborate with HR, People, Global and Regional HR teams, and our speciality and core business partners and global functions (e.g., HRIS, Marketing, Risk, etc).
Our global change agenda spans various human capital interventions critical to meeting our fast-growing firm and aggressive business objectives in an increasingly digitally enabled yet highly people centric environment. These efforts require a consultative approach coupled with subject matter expertise across HR operations; digital shared services, process transformation; change management and data / analytic based methodologies.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
You will be expected to roll-up-your sleeves and use your strong people and HR skills to further shape how we setup BCG HR Operations for success. You will need to bring a strong problem-solving toolkit to assess and drive change including understanding HR process and digital enablement approaches and new ways of working.
You will have creativity, flexibility and strong communications skills to be able to ‘tell the story’ and propel transformational change with a diverse and highly engaged group of stakeholders, proactively assessing and anticipating needs. It’s assumed you have strong collaboration skills and can effectively leverage various digital tools.
Specific responsibilities will include
- Lead specific projects including scoping work, planning, conducting analysis and making recommendations, analytics support and/or developing presentations
- Plan and prioritize initiatives including developing work plans and team charters, clarifying priorities and creating an overall program plan
- Identify and resolve issues and provide guidance and support to working teams
- Monitor progress of projects, review output and provide a view of progress and milestones and issues
- Help coordinate across diverse global teams; including making connections, supporting collaboration and establishing regular communication channels among team/efforts
- Ensure strong links across other internal function and business partners
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years' Consulting experience from top-tier firm and/or within a high-calibre HR team
- Experience managing large-scale, global projects in support of organizational change efforts
- Familiarity with professional services companies and business models
- Strong communication skills with an ability to clarify problems and articulate solutions
- Proven excellence with project management and group facilitation, across different cultures and related to highly confidential and sensitive topics
- Ideally some product, system or digital experience particularly around HR systems and use cases
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
- Advanced skills in creating MS PowerPoint presentations; MS Word; strong Excel; familiarity with Trello and Slack
Who You'll Work With
The team you will work with possess strong project and change management skills and deep analytical capabilities. Overall, while everyone has their own projects to deliver, we collaborate and learn from each other. More broadly you will work across all levels of the firm across all of our geographic regions.
