Where will you be working?

As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

This role is Hybrid and will likely require an average of 2 days travel per week.

What will you be doing?

You’ll act as the senior Employee Relations partner for the Telecoms division, supporting up to 4,000 colleagues. Working closely with leaders and People Business Partners, you’ll lead on complex and high‑risk ER cases, ensuring fair, consistent outcomes aligned to Group policy.

You’ll coach and advise leaders, ER Specialists and Advisors, helping to build confidence and capability while identifying people risks, themes and cultural patterns. Alongside case leadership, you’ll contribute to ER standards, policy development and wider ER projects, acting as a trusted and credible advisor across the business.

What you’ll bring:

  • Significant ER casework experience and strong commercial judgement.
  • Experience in Redundancy TUPE, Mergers, Acquisitions, NAEICI and Blue Book, Union Negotiations and (or) Senior Level complex case work (desirable or well developed).
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders calmly and credibly.
  • Collaborative balanced and clear in approach.
  • Has acted in Senior People Partner or Employee Relations Positions in previous roles.
