This is an opportunity to register interest in future React Developer roles within technology-focused organizations seeking to build and maintain sophisticated frontend applications. What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Developing and maintaining React applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
  • Building reusable, component-based UI solutions aligned with design systems and user experience standards
  • Integrating frontend applications with APIs and microservices, working across distributed systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, designers and product stakeholders
  • Contributing to code quality through code reviews, testing and adherence to development best practices
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and supporting continuous improvement of development processes
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance across browsers and devices

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

  • 5–10 years' experience in software development, with substantial hands-on experience in React and JavaScript
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend development practices
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
  • Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working within agile environments and methodologies

Nice-to-have

  • Meta Front-End Developer Certificate, JavaScript Certification (JSE/JSA) or equivalent frontend development credentials
  • Experience with freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries (React) or comparable structured learning
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, SQL and related data integration patterns
  • Experience with Excel or Power BI for reporting and analytics
