School Contract Driver

Location: Camborne / Redruth Area

Pay: £13.00 per hour (Self-Employed)

Hours: 15–25 hours per week (Term Time Only)

Schedule: 3–5 hours per day (Morning and Afternoon runs)

The Opportunity

This role is perfectly suited for retired or semi-retired individuals who enjoy driving and want to give back to the community. With a fully maintained vehicle provided and a "term-time only" schedule, you can enjoy your holidays while earning a steady income during the school year.

The Role

  • Transport: Providing safe, punctual, and friendly transport for students and vulnerable adults.
  • Routine: Working split shifts (morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups) for a total of 3–5 hours per day.
  • Vehicle: You will be supplied with a fully maintained vehicle and all fuel costs are covered.
  • Support: For those new to the sector, we provide full assistance with the application process for necessary licensing.

Requirements

  • Age & Insurance: Must be over 25 with fewer than 6 points on your driving licence (for insurance purposes).
  • Location: Must be based near the Camborne/Redruth area.
  • Licensing: Drivers require a Hackney Taxi Licence and a School Contract Badge.
  • Already have them? We offer a financial bonus for an immediate start.
  • Don't have them? We can help with the application and assist with the costs.
  • Qualities: Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with special need children and vulnerable adults.
