Positions Available

Hitchin Setting - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am-4:00pm (30 hours)

Address- Old Hale Way, Hitchin, SG5 1XR

Letchworth Setting- Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (40 hours)

Address - West View, Letchworth, SG6 3QN

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, fun and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our team. If you are a level 2 you must be committed to qualifying for a level 3 that Early Bird's will support you with. You would be expected to start this after completing your probation period.

The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves working closely with children in their formative years, focusing on their social, emotional, communication and physical development through engaging activities and structured learning experiences. Our company ethos is that children learn through a play based curriculum that reflects the children's interests and needs and our company values and pedagogy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that is exciting, fun and nurtures a child's innate curiosity.
  • Be a key person for a small group of children.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support their child's welfare, development and progress.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the setting throughout the day.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with children in various educational settings such as daycare, childminding or preschool.
  • Strong background in childhood development principles and practices.
