Since our founding in Australia in 2004, Nucleus Network has successfully conducted over 1500 phase 1 clinical trials for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies from the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China.

You’d be based at Hammersmith Medicines Research (HMR), our London site, but have oversight of oversees contract monitors.

We are seeking an experienced clinical trial monitoring professional to manage and support our clinical monitoring activities while contributing to the Quality Team.

Key responsibilities

• managing and training a team of monitors in the UK and oversight of oversees contract monitors
• site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring and closeout visits at HMR and other UK sites
• preparing monitoring quotes, plans and reports
• communication with the sponsor and investigator

· conducting audits on clinical trials, systems and service providers

Mandatory qualifications and competencies

Applicants must hold a degree or PhD in a life science and have a thorough understanding of clinical trials, substantial monitoring experience, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to manage and develop a team. Strong communication, organisational, prioritisation and computer skills are essential.

Desired competencies

Excellent knowledge of the regulations governing clinical trials and auditing experience would be advantageous.
