£120 per day | 40 Hours per Week | ASAP Start | Based in Quidenham, Norfolk

Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work?

Are you reliable, hardworking and happy working outdoors?

Aspira Education are recruiting a School Grounds Assistant to support a specialist education setting on a temporary basis for several weeks.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces, enjoys physical work and can work independently while supporting the wider site team.

No specific grounds maintenance qualifications are required. We are simply looking for a dependable, practical individual who is willing to get stuck in and help keep the school grounds safe, tidy and well-maintained.

Hours

Monday - Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm

40 hours per week

About the Role

As a School Grounds Assistant, you will:

  • Support with general grounds maintenance across the school site.
  • Carry out basic gardening and landscaping duties.
  • Assist with keeping outdoor areas clean, safe and presentable.
  • Support with litter picking and waste management.
  • Help maintain pathways, fences and outdoor facilities.
  • Undertake basic maintenance and manual handling duties.
  • Assist the site team with a variety of practical tasks as required.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

No two days will be the same, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
