Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, demonstrate leadership, and provide excellent customer service. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on various structures and equipment.
  • To be reactive to maintenance jobs and priority jobs,
  • Conduct repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain properties to ensure they meet current regulations
  • Be able to conduct some of the following tasks: Changing locks, painting, glossing, fitting lock boxes, basic plumbing, cleaning and more.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles.
  • Strong knowledge with the ability to perform repairs across various systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly,
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong logical reasoning abilities.
