Full job description

Due to continued expansion we require a self employed or employed kitchen fitter/ handyperson to join our team. A company van will be provided with the employed role for work purposes only and paid at £15 per hour to start.

You will be paid on a half day/ full day basis for self employed role starting at £200 per day. You will also need your own LWB van and tools (110v or cordless) for the self employed role to enable you to carry out the work.

You will travel to various new build homes across the NE and TS postcodes to carry out customer care works. This will include anything from replacing a door, changing worktops or occasionally a full kitchen refit. Basic water plumbing experience would be an advantage for disconnections and reconnections to enable the replacement of any sink units or changing of any sinks.

A good all round knowledge of kitchen fitting is essential, also essential is good communication skills and time keeping as you will be working in occupied new build homes via a pre arranged schedule.
