An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a versatile, compassionate Maintenance Person to join our team at Longley Hall in Sheffield / Barnsley, offering a competitive salary for a [Full-Time/Part-Time] position.

We provide high-quality supported living services that empower vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible, and we believe that a safe, well maintained environment is key to our residents' happiness and wellbeing. In this rewarding role, you will take hands-on pride in looking after our properties by carrying out general day-to-day repairs including basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and redecoration. You will also take responsibility for keeping outdoor spaces and gardens safe and tidy throughout the seasons.

Unlike a standard commercial caretaking job, you will be working directly inside our residents' homes, meaning your friendly personality, patience, and profound respect for their privacy and dignity will be just as important as your toolkit. We are looking for an ultimate handyperson with proven experience in property maintenance or a trade, strong organisational skills to prioritise urgent safety repairs, a full clean driving licence and a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
