Job Introduction

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who will provide technical expertise to ensure maximum efficiency and performance across our engineering assets. In this hands on role, you’ll carry out planned and allocated tasks across both fixed and mobile plant, supporting safe and reliable operations. You’ll play a key role in delivering high quality maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and contributing to continuous improvement within a high performing team.

Main Responsibility

  • Carrying out maintenance activities in full compliance with safe working practices, quality procedures and regulatory requirements, including Irish Revenue, environmental legislation, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and FEMAS standards.
  • Providing specialist technical support to maximise efficiency across production and engineering assets, ensuring planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Supporting and driving team‑based improvement initiatives, including advanced diagnostics such as Root Cause Analysis and FMEA/FMECA, and helping to agree and implement action plans.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to unplanned breakdowns, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective solutions, particularly for complex technical issues.
  • Updating maintenance records, plant history and technical documentation in the CMMS (IFS), ensuring all planned and reactive tasks are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Recording all electrical, mechanical and instrumentation maintenance activities for KPI and reporting purposes.
  • Working collaboratively within a high‑performing team, contributing to site meetings, supporting production plans, and helping execute the Asset Maintenance Strategy.
  • Participating in the on‑call rota to provide out‑of‑hours maintenance support as required.
  • Demonstrating behaviours aligned with our diversity and inclusion aims, helping foster a culture where different perspectives are respected and valued.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified maintenance technician with experience in mechanical discipline.
  • Skilled in carrying out planned, reactive and predictive maintenance on a wide range of plant and equipment.
  • Strong problem solver with experience of RCA, FMEA/FMECA or similar methodologies.
  • Competent in using CMMS systems (IFS experience advantageous).
  • A strong communicator who works effectively within cross functional teams.
  • Committed to safety, continuous improvement, and inclusive teamwork.
