Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, practically minded, and hands-on Driver / Handyman to join our growing team. This is a highly varied role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of a diverse range of equipment, as well as handling general handyman and maintenance tasks around our warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and a solid mechanical or practical background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving & Deliveries: Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections using various fleet vehicles, including a 7.5t lorry.
  • Loading & Securing: Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securing of different equipment types.
  • Warehouse Operations: Safely operate a forklift to move materials and load vehicles
  • Facilities Maintenance: Tackle ongoing handyman jobs, minor repairs, and general maintenance tasks around the warehouse and site.
  • Equipment Care: Assist with basic equipment cleaning, general maintenance.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of vehicle checks.
  • Team Support: Uphold high safety and customer service standards while supporting the wider team with general site tasks as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Driving Licensing: Must be competent, experienced, and legally qualified to drive a 7.5t lorry.
  • CPC Status: A CPC is not required for this role, as driving the 7.5t vehicle makes up less than 30% of your rolling monthly work.
  • Forklift: Experience Driving Counterbalance forklift.
  • Mindset: A practical, mechanical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Work Ethic: Highly dependable, proactive, and able to use your own initiative.
  • Communication: Good communication skills with a professional, customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience: A background in warehouse operations, driving, or a trade/handyman environment is highly advantageous..
