Part-Time Maintenance & Grounds Person – Free On-Site Caravan Pitch

Location: Small Residential Park, Frome, Somerset, BA11

Hours: 2 days per week

Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience

Accommodation: Free pitch for your own small tourer caravan

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking person to help look after our small, friendly residential park in Frome, Somerset.

The park has just 20 residential pitches and we are looking for someone to help with general maintenance, repairs and groundskeeping for two days per week.

An attractive additional benefit is the opportunity to live on the park free of charge in your own small tourer caravan, with a free pitch provided.

This could suit someone who is semi-retired, self-employed or simply looking for regular part-time work with the added benefit of on-site accommodation.

Main Duties

  • General maintenance and repairs around the park.
  • General DIY, carpentry and painting.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance within your level of competence.
  • General upkeep of park facilities.
  • Identifying and dealing with maintenance issues as they arise.
  • Keeping the park clean, tidy and well presented.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good general maintenance and DIY skills.
  • Is confident using tools and equipment.
  • Has experience with gardening and grounds maintenance.
  • Is reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
  • Takes pride in their work.
  • Can work independently and use their own initiative.
  • Has a friendly and approachable manner when dealing with residents.

Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman work or groundskeeping would be an advantage.
