Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

Contract: Subcontract initially, with potential for permanent employment

About the Role

Miller Knight are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join a local property team working across Nottinghamshire, helping to refurbish and develop rental properties.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident across a range of general building and refurbishment trades, takes pride in their work and can deliver a high standard of finish.

You will work as part of a small team, carrying out a variety of refurbishment and maintenance works across residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve a variety of general building and refurbishment tasks, including:

  • General building and property refurbishment
  • Kitchen fitting and installation
  • Bathroom fitting and refurbishment
  • Basic plumbing
  • Joinery and carpentry
  • Patch plastering
  • Tiling
  • Painting and decorating
  • General finishing and snagging works
  • Carrying out remedial works to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is genuinely multi-skilled and has proven experience working across a range of trades.

You will need:

  • Previous experience in a multi-skilled trades or property refurbishment role
  • Good practical knowledge across several building trades
  • Your own tools
  • Your own reliable transport
  • A keen eye for detail
  • High standards of workmanship and finish
  • The ability to work efficiently and independently
  • The ability to work well as part of a small team
  • A reliable and professional approach to your work
