About the Role

Our national client is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Trade Operative to join their growing team, delivering high-quality refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out and repair projects for commercial properties across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and expanding business with a strong reputation, a full order book, and consistent year-on-year growth. The successful candidate will work as part of a small, skilled team supporting both existing client maintenance programmes and exciting new commercial refurbishment projects nationwide.

Based in Nottinghamshire, you will be able to commute to the company's local head office and travel to project locations throughout the UK as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out commercial refurbishment, maintenance, fit-out and rip-out works.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship across multiple trade disciplines.
  • Work effectively as part of a small team on projects nationwide.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and site contacts.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Travel regularly and work away from home when required.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Skilled and experienced Joiners.
  • Multi-skilled, with experience in trades such as:
  • Bricklaying
  • Plastering
  • Decorating
  • General building maintenance
  • Other associated trades
  • Committed to producing quality work and taking pride in their craft.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity with career development prospects.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Joiner.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home regularly.

Working Hours

Flexibility is essential for this role.

  • Predominantly Monday to Friday daytime working.
  • Occasional evening, night and out-of-hours work may be required.
  • UK-wide travel and overnight stays are a regular feature of the role.
  • All overtime and additional hours are fully paid.
  • Unsociable hours are planned and scheduled well in advance.
