Full job description

LOCATION: Sittingbourne

START DATE: Wednesday 4th November

DURATION: 2 days

PAY RATE: £20 per hour

HOURS: 9 hours paid per day


We are looking for someone who is practical, hands-on and confident carrying out general handyman duties. The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.


Duties

  • Carrying out general handyman and maintenance tasks as required on site.
  • Assisting with general repairs, maintenance and improvement works.
  • Undertaking basic fitting, fixing and installation tasks.
  • Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assisting other trades and site personnel where required.
  • Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised.
  • Following all site health and safety procedures.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a good standard and within the required timescales.

Requirements

  • Valid and in-date CSCS card.
  • Full PPE must be provided and worn at all times.
  • Previous handyman or general maintenance experience.
  • Relevant work references must be available upon request.
  • Good knowledge of site health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach to work.
