Estimated Hours: Standard Hours on Site (7.30am-5pm)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile CSCS PASMA Handyman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills across various trades, including carpentry. This role involves working on-site to support diverse projects, ensuring safety standards are maintained and tasks are completed efficiently. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in construction and maintenance to contribute to high-quality projects within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
  • Assist with fabrication work as required, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Support the installation and assembly of scaffolding using PASMA standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and structures to identify potential issues or hazards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including the use of PPE and adherence to site procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction or maintenance roles with a focus on multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, masonry, welding or electrical work.
  • Demonstrable ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and competently.
  • Experience working on scaffolding or working at height using PASMA standards is highly desirable.
