Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care across a variety of settings, including primary care clinics, nursing homes, and community health programmes. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care

  • Administer medications safely and appropriately, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines
  • Perform or oversee diagnostic procedures such as medical imaging and laboratory tests
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care, especially in nursing home, hospice, and home care settings
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
  • Engage in clinical research projects or public health initiatives as required
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and healthcare assistants
  • Stay updated with the latest medical developments and integrate new knowledge into practice

Skills

  • Proven experience in general practice with a strong foundation in patient care
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to general medicine
  • Experience in specialised areas such as ICU, senior care, hospice care, or home care is advantageous
  • Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and public health principles
  • Competence in interpreting medical imaging results and administering medications accurately
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with diverse patient populations
  • Organised approach to managing multiple cases efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional independence
