Peregrine Livefoods, the UK’s leading supplier of Livefoods and reptile products, is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our Livefoods Despatch team at our rural Harlow site.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and has a passion for organisation, accuracy, and efficiency. If you're motivated, reliable, and want to be part of a values-led team, we want to hear from you.

Location: Hastingwood Road, Harlow, CM5 0EN
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate management, monitoring, and control of live food inventory
  • Stock levels maintained, stock movements accurately recorded and quality standards upheld
  • Working closely with purchasing, warehouse, Livefoods production to ensure optimal stock availability while minimising waste and losses
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be able to operate all required Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), hold a valid FLT (Counterbalance / Flexi) license and undertake refresher training / re-qualification as required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive work ethic and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on maximising departmental performance.
  • Ability to tolerate working in all weathers, while driving a FLT.
  • Able to record data correctly to ensure correct stock levels.
  • Grow inter-department and team relationships using positive communication techniques.
  • Must be able to travel to site – no public transport nearby
