School Catering Supervisor – Make a Lasting Impact!

Grade 6 – £28,142.00 for 35 hours per week, term time only (45.8 weeks per annum), equating to £23,383.83 pro rata per annum, rising to 46.8 weeks (£26,170.86 pro rata) after 5 years’ service.

Do you want a role where your skills make a real difference every day? As a School Catering Supervisor, you will play a vital part in shaping the health and wellbeing of children across our schools. Our catering service is about more than food – it is about fuelling young minds, supporting learning, and creating a positive mealtime experience that helps children thrive.

This is an open-ended position, working 35 hours per week, term time only.

What will you do?

  • Supervise and organise the preparation of food and delivery of the catering service

  • Lead and support catering operatives, allocating duties, tasks, and rotas

  • Manage stock control and order provisions

  • Ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene

What are we looking for?

  • A recognised catering qualification (can be provided)

  • Relevant experience and excellent cooking skills

  • Strong supervisory competence and organisational ability
