School Catering Supervisor – Make a Lasting Impact!
Grade 6 – £28,142.00 for 35 hours per week, term time only (45.8 weeks per annum), equating to £23,383.83 pro rata per annum, rising to 46.8 weeks (£26,170.86 pro rata) after 5 years’ service.
Do you want a role where your skills make a real difference every day? As a School Catering Supervisor, you will play a vital part in shaping the health and wellbeing of children across our schools. Our catering service is about more than food – it is about fuelling young minds, supporting learning, and creating a positive mealtime experience that helps children thrive.
This is an open-ended position, working 35 hours per week, term time only.
What will you do?
- Supervise and organise the preparation of food and delivery of the catering service
- Lead and support catering operatives, allocating duties, tasks, and rotas
- Manage stock control and order provisions
- Ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene
What are we looking for?
- A recognised catering qualification (can be provided)
- Relevant experience and excellent cooking skills
- Strong supervisory competence and organisational ability
Your work will directly contribute to children’s health, wellbeing, and social development – helping them concentrate, learn, and grow. If you are passionate about food and want to make a positive impact in your community, we would love to hear from you!
