Overview

Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, just 80 steps from Harrods and moments from Harvey Nichols, The Capital Hotel, Apartments & Townhouse is one of London’s first boutique hotels and a proud member of Pride of Britain Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

We are delighted to be recruiting passionate and talented individuals to join our Cornwall-born seafood specialist, Tom Brown, at our One Michelin Star restaurant. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within an exceptional kitchen and front-of-house team, delivering refined, seafood-led cuisine at the very highest level.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the front-of-house team during service.
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional, personalised service at all times.
  • Assist with team training, coaching, and performance development.
  • Maintain Michelin-star service standards and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage guest feedback professionally and proactively.
  • Support stock control, ordering, and operational procedures where required.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager and kitchen teams to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel industry
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster teamwork
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff
  • Knowledge of human resources practices related to staff training, scheduling, and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, standards, and procedures in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively
