Farm Labourers – Full Time

Burbage, Wiltshire
£14.02 per hour (PAYE)
06:00 – 15:00 | 6 Days On / 2 Day Off (rolling rota)

Oaklands Farm Eggs are currently recruiting Experienced Poultry Stockperson to join our busy poultry farm based in Burbage, Wiltshire.

This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and working in an farm environment.

Please note: Due to the rural location, own transport is essential.

The Role

Duties will include:

  • General poultry care including feeding, cleaning, and handling birds
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and bird welfare
  • General farm duties and keeping work areas clean and tidy
  • Working in a physically demanding environment indoors and outdoors ad working at hight
  • Following all health & safety and biosecurity procedures at all times

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be comfortable working around animals and in farm environments
  • Be reliable, hardworking, and physically fit (the role requires standing for, climbing steps and stairs)
  • Have your own transport due to rural location
  • Be 18 years old or over
  • Have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

!!! Due to strict biosecurity regulations, candidates who own any type of birds at home cannot be considered for this role.!!!
