Gatyo’s ristorante is a family run Italian restaurant in Ballymena.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food production
- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the management team
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction

Skills:
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and presentation
- Excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and kitchen operations
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

The Head Chef position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a supervisory role. A culinary degree or certification is highly desirable.
